A critical component of power transmission systems is a worm gear box , also referred to as a right-angle gear box , a worm gear reducer or a worm gear speed reducer. A small worm gearbox For compact applications with space limitation, small worm gearboxes can provide reliable solutions.

We offer two models of miniature right angle gearboxes, the RA-200 and the RA-300. Both models feature 1:1 and 2:1 ratios, left and right hand output shafts, clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, and engineering support to ensure your success.

The RA-300 miniature worm gear box features an aluminum housing and sealed ball bearings. The RA-200, on the other hand, makes use of a nylon housing and nylon bushings.

Some of the design features of the RA-300 include:

- **Size**: 1.25" high x 1.25" wide x 1.25" deep, not including shaft length
- **Gears**: Hardened steel helical gears
- **Lubrication**: Permanent
- **Input and output steel shafts**: 1/4 " OD (Stainless available - Consult Factory)
- **Bearings**: sealed ball bearing
- **Weight**: 6 ounces
- **RPM**: Rated at 1800 RPM maximum
- **Horsepower**: Rated for 1/8 HP continuous duty

Some of the design features of the RA-200 include:

- **Size**: 1.25" high x 1.25" wide x 1.25" deep, not including shaft length
- **Gears**: Hardened steel helical gears
- **Lubrication**: Permanent
- **Input and output steel shafts**: 1/4 " OD (Stainless available - Consult Factory)
- **Bearings**: Nylon Bushing
- **Weight**: 3 ounces, 6 ounces
- **RPM**: Rated at 1800 RPM maximum
- **Horsepower**: Rated for 1/8 HP continuous duty

Both models can be customized to meet the  requirements of your specific application.
