From engineering innovation to customer service excellence, our people bring decades of combined experience and a shared commitment to solving your power transmission challenges.
With over two decades of experience in the power transmission component industry, John Rampe has been leading Torque Transmission since joining the team in April 2008. His extensive background spans multiple industries, including precision welding services and elevator systems, giving him a unique perspective on solving complex mechanical challenges. Customers know him for quick responses and innovative solutions, particularly when they need specific "off the shelf" products that meet their exact requirements.
Outside the office, John enjoys sailing, ice hockey, and cycling. His guiding philosophy reflects his balanced approach to both work and life: "Listen before speaking, practice patience, move with confidence, and embrace calmness every single day."
Terri Dobosh brought fresh perspective to Torque Transmission when she joined in April 2019, transitioning from the automotive industry where she pioneered as one of the first female service advisors at her dealership. Her customer service experience proved invaluable in her initial customer service role, and she successfully transitioned into Accounting/HR Manager. Customers remember her for quick responses, empathy, and courtesy, while her work ensuring adequate inventory helps prevent order delays.
Outside of work, Terri enjoys reading, growing yellow roses, and spending time with family. Her work ethic was shaped by her mother's dedication and her son's inspiration to keep striving for improvement. Her fundamental principle guides everything: "Be honest. Even if you have bad news, be truthful. Your customers and co-workers will appreciate that more than a fib."
Conrado Hernandez joined Torque Transmission in September 2020, bringing 32 years of experience as a Senior Product Design Engineer in outdoor lighting fixtures plus diverse experience across sugar mills, oil industry installations, packaging machinery, and salt mining equipment. His extensive background gives him a unique ability to understand manufacturability challenges and explore alternative solutions that others might not consider. Customers appreciate his respectful demeanor, collaborative approach, and eagerness to help solve complex design challenges.
Outside of work, Conrado enjoys movies, music, and salsa dancing. One meaningful achievement was participating in design upgrades for the sugar refinery in his hometown where two generations of his family worked. His comprehensive approach to work and life: "Give 100% plus in every task assigned, learn from my experience and the expertise of others, be open to constructive criticism and take pride in my work."
Since joining Torque Transmission in 2022, Chelsea Fisher has brought exceptional organizational skills and genuine care to her customer service role. Her seven years in daycare settings equipped her with multitasking abilities and a patient approach to customer interactions. She's built her reputation on authenticity and efficiency—starting each morning by entering orders and sending acknowledgments while providing honest, upfront communication about order status and timelines.
When not at work, Chelsea enjoys the outdoors with her husband and son through hunting, fishing, and nature activities, plus relaxing with good books. Stepping out of her comfort zone to transition from daycare to power transmission proved what she's capable of achieving. Her guiding principle reflects her genuine approach: "Treat others how you would want to be treated, because you always want to consider other people's feelings."
